Helicopter Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Frequented California Coast
An aircraft flying above a crowded California beach unexpectedly started spinning uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a cluster of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Videos shared on the internet capture the chopper starting to spin near the shoreline then descending towards the border of the shore, where it gets stuck among palm trees and a set of stairs near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
Local firefighters said five persons were rushed to the hospital comprising a pair who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” after the crash on that day.
Three persons on the road were harmed. Information on their condition were not immediately available.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
