British Airways is introducing free fast onboard internet via satellite agreement
Flyers on British Airways are set to enjoy fast connectivity onboard without charge after a new partnership with SpaceX's communications company.
No-cost plus Fast Wifi for All
The carrier stated that this complimentary, “quick and reliable” internet provision from SpaceX will be available to passengers in economy, business, and premium cabins as of soon.
Expanded Deployment Across Multiple Airlines
The parent company of BA, IAG, announced it had finalized an partnership with the satellite firm to provide internet services for more than 500 jets within its airlines, such as the Irish airline, Iberia, and Vueling.
Uninterrupted Connectivity from Boarding through Arrival
British Airways stated that this rollout of this system formed part of a seven billion pound “transformation” initiative and will provide uninterrupted internet coverage to flyers starting at the gate to landing, also when traveling above oceans or remote regions.
Customers will be able to hook up multiple gadgets and they will not have to use a separate password.

Current Internet Services
Limited wifi access is currently available to British Airways passengers on nearly all of the airline's planes through its .air platform.
Enrollees of the airline's reward scheme may transmit communications plus text-based messages during flights free of charge, while passengers looking to watch music, films, or movies during the journey and are not flying in premium cabins may pay from four pounds ninety-nine to twenty-one pounds ninety-nine per wifi bundle.

Their management are striving to improve the airline around after a long time with budget reductions, system failures, industrial action, and mass redundancies.
